Chocolate Cake.. The Healthy Way!

Inspired by the ultimate Chocolate Cake but in its healthiest version!

Oh my! My kind of recipe 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of oat flour (Just grind oats in a blender until smooth)
  • 2 Eggs
  • Vanilla + Baking powder + Salt
  • ¼ cup Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ¼ Cup Raw unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ Cup Hot water

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C degrees. Grease skillet with ¼ spoon of coconut oil & set aside.

In a bowl, Add 1 Cup of oat flour, a pinch of salt & ¼ tablespoon of baking powder.

In another bowl, add ¼ Cup of cocoa with the ¼ cup of water and whisk.

Then add the eggs + vanilla + the coconut oil + the maple syrup

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and whisk to combine.

Transfer batter to skillet and bake for 20-25  mins until a toothpick comes out “mostly clean”
